When I lived and worked in Charlotte, it seemed no one was interested in creating an identifiable design for the city. It was all curtain wall (glass) and steel in a myriad of shapes. The forward thinking city developers with the wind of city council beneath their wings had bulldozed every ounce of life out of the city's design and were set to do more to green pastures.. Example.. Phillips Place, Birkdale..
